Wow to the chef... The hibachi... Amazing!! The food was beyond belief but most of all, the chef was so entertaining. He made everyone at the table laugh. He really made cooking look like an art and made the meal worth the bill. Everything is reasonably priced. The portions are kind of small but there was so many plates (soup, salad, app. and rice)...
Very good place, very fun. I love the Chef's interaction and tricks, and they're funny too. The food is very good and they serve a lot. Also, the Choya plum wine is soooo good, you should absolutely try the bottle.
Very good service and food!! The chef was very funny and friendly. service was very good and food was even better.1st time i go and loved it will be back for sure. cant really any else but keep up the good work..
Good Japanese cuisine It was a whole day shopping = a rush and stressed day. We two were hungry and bored of the food court, didn’t know where to go for lunch. Despite we enjoy Japanese food don’t try unknown places. Japanese restaurants, if good are expensive; could be expensive but not good; or cheap but better stay away. Well, we decided to try Kobe. Good decision. We enjoyed a nice lunch, just what needed: good food, spent less than an hour, reasonable price. The menu is not huge but it is difficult not to find something for one’s taste, meats, seafood and of course the well-known Japanese dishes. We opted for the Lunch Combo, at $10.95 couldn’t be better. Two different rolls, eight pieces each, plus a good miso soup. The rolls are well elaborated and delicious. Kind and quick service. I recommend it.
Wonderful Food Excellent sushi and service - worth paying for good food. The waiter recommended the sushi palette as there was such a huge selection !
Its just like every other Hibachi place in the world, completely awsome, most of the chefs are very entertaining, make sure you bring cash to tip if you want. If you've never been to hibachi then this is a good place to go.
Great Lunch! Only had lunch, but it was delicious and reasonably price. The show was fantastic, I've had worse at better restaurants at dinner. We had the table to ourselves with quick service and a best-cooked dinner.
Take out sushi!!! Good!! We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening very late at 10pm. We ordered takeout sushi to eat back in our hotel room. The wait staff was very helpful and knowledgeable on the menu. We ordered several rolls. We also had a plum wine. It was very sweet and very good. First time having it was good. Know I get this whenever I go to Japanese restaurant. Sushi rolls were very good. It was also good value for money. We saw several groups going for hibachi. Which is always fun! Overall good sushi at a good price. We will go back next time we are in Miami.
Nice atmosphere Nice atmosphere, great, friendly staff and the best Japanese food in the city. Try the fillet mignon and shrimp hibachi with fried rice... Recommended!
Great food, great service, Took my girlfriend to Kobe Steak House during a weekend trip to watch USF play UM and we had a wonderful meal served by a wonderful staff. The food was delicious and the chef was very interactive and entertaining. He didn't give me my extra order of fried rice but the hostess realized it and removed it from the bill. The overall experience was great and I wish the shrimp and scallops I make were as delicious as it was at Kobe's!
Best Filet Mignon of the holiday We ate as a family of 6. This was my best Filet Mignon of the holiday. We all had great food. Very entertaining chef. All had Teppenyaki. A little expensive when feeding 6 hungry adults, but worth it.
Good place to eat with your family in Dolphin Mall! My son and I visit this place frequently with my girlfriend! We love the atmosphere and the miso soup served with a ginger salad. The Hibachi is excellent with good portions of steak, chicken and shrimp... Also the fried rice is very tasty!!! Theys serve much bigger portions than Benny Hana
This place is just as good as Benihana, for a much lower price. Those of you who complained about it probably got a crappy chef who didn't season the food properly, but you can get 3 different entrees for less than $30, and in Benihana you will only get 2 for that price if you're lucky. Also unlike Benihana, they do a show on the hibachi grill, where they light fires, do onion volcanos, and other tricks, and they have the traditional Japanese drummers going around the restaurant and the outside of the mall. Benihana used to be good but they have taken their clientele for granted and now fail to do any shows, provide good service, and they keep increasing their prices. Their wait times are awful as well. If you go to Kobe, ask for Jeff, he's the best chef, makes jokes, and will make you and your family feel at home.
The meat from such wagyu cattle is known for its quality, and demands a high price. In several areas of Japan, wagyu beef is shipped carrying area names. Some examples are Kobe, Mishima, Matsusaka, Ōmi, and Sanda beef. Highly prized for their rich flavor, these cattle produce arguably the finest beef in the world. Wagyu cattle’s genetic predisposition yields a beef that contains a higher percentage of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids than typical beef. The increased marbling also increases the ratio of monounsaturated fats to saturated fats.
The literal meaning of hibachi is “fire bowl”, so you can imagine the amount of heat used to cook this delicious food. Hibachi is the cooking of meat, vegetable and seafood dishes on a high-heat, metal cooking plate. The main appeal of hibachi dining is the entertainment aspect. When you join us for a hibachi dinner, you are guaranteed to have a great time. One of the greatest things about hibachi is that your food is cooked right in front of your eyes by one of our outstanding chefs. Our chefs attract an audience not only with their delicious food but their skilled maneuvers. Whether they are tossing food in the air, making a volcano out of sliced onions or showing off their knife skills, there is always something exciting being done. All in all, the mixture of tasty Japanese food and an amusing performance makes this style of cuisine very popular.
